What a buyer sees before meeting you
Use Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji or any app as usual. Send your Rep link in the chat so they can check your record.
Open their link and ask them to confirm it’s them. Only the real owner can, with their fingerprint, face or screen lock.
The seller shows a code, the buyer scans it, and you both sign the deal in about 10 seconds. Then you rate each other.
Won’t confirm? Walk away.
If someone won’t confirm it’s them, or won’t do the handshake when you meet, treat it as a warning sign.
No secret score. The rules are public and the same for everyone.
ID-verified, at least 3 completed deals, no recent rating under 4.0, and no recent upheld reports.
New, not ID-verified, a recent rating under 4.0, a minor upheld report, or a report under review. The card says which.
